WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW WON'T HURT YOU

True.

But when you are aware that you don't know something, wouldn't that hurt too?

When things go wrong, when things fall apart, when things become fucked up, the best way to do is to keep your mouth shut. If you don't have anything good to say about a person, keep it to yourself. Or at least, you can go straight to that person and say it to his/her face. Save the effort of telling everyone else. Right? Right. Well, I understand how things got this way --- over reaction. Hahaha.

Sorry for whatever you thought I did. Sorry, it came to this point. Sorry, your emotions consumed you. Sorry, you were too intelligent to assume many things. Sorry, I had to write this. It's the only way I can release the tension.

Oh well, this is crazy.

One day, some day, I hope you'll be sorry too.

TARFU.

CHISMISCOMMUNICATION

Communication is the process of conveying information from a sender to a receiver with the use of a medium in which the communicated information is understood the same way by both sender and receiver. (Wikipedia)

Each and every one of us has a unique way of communicating with others. Be it verbally or in written medium. A person's communication skills are influenced by so many things - culture, education, religion, media, family, friends, even technology, and sooo much more.

(Okay, I’ll cut the crap and go straight to the point.)

At one point, you have been a victim of miscommunication (or too much communication, or lack of communication). And at another point, you have been involved (not to mention, have been a major player) in that miscommunication thing. Hehe.

A simple casual comment of one person may be received as a brutal complaint by another, or a discriminatory statement to another, or a prejudiced criticism to another, and the list goes on.
And you’ll be surprised by the different versions one simple Jack & Jill story may have.

So how do we avoid this dilemma? Well, we cannot. It’s part of everyday living. Chismis is the new cigarette. It warms you up. And when one stick is over, you simply cannot stop. Oh man, you’re gonna come back for more. Trust me.

Not being able to avoid this doesn’t necessarily mean that we cannot manage it. Talk. Discuss. Argue. Reason out. Face to face.

Round 1 (ting!).

I am ready.

Haaay TARFU!
