Maybe Not

Now that I am back in business, I don't think I can maintain blogging. I'll try, of course. Whenever I have the time... whenever I am inspired... whenever I have the urge to share and write down my thoughts. Until then, goodbye for now.

In Between

When we were at my uncle's wake, my brother taught us a new card game called “in between”. Each player is given two cards at the beginning of the game. Then another card will be given to a player, but you should first decide whether to CALL or FOLD. CALL meaning you have a pretty good feeling that the new card given to you will fall “in between” the first two cards. FOLD meaning otherwise. Example, you have a FIVE and a QUEEN, you'll probably think that the new card will fall in between these two. If the new card given to you is, let's say a NINE, then you win. It's that easy. But if you have two identical cards, the choices will be HIGHER or LOWER. If you were given two TENS, then you might probably choose LOWER, meaning the new card to be given to you will (hopefully) be lower than TEN.

At some point in our lives, we often thought that we have had our lowest moments... our most embarrassing situation... our ugliest look... our worst hair day... our unluckiest day.

Whatever you felt, seen, tasted, touched or heard, it will always be in between. At some point, there will always be someone out there who had a more embarrassing situation than the one you were in. If you think you're getting older because almost all your colleagues are younger than you, then just think of your older friends and relatives. Definitely, you will always be younger than them. If you think you had a bad day when your flight got canceled, then just thank God that you were not on the plane that crashed and got all of its passengers killed. If you think you're getting fat, then try watching THE BIGGEST LOSER. If you think you're not that smart, then just think of other people who can't or don't even have the capacity to read this. And you probably won't be reading this if you're not smart. Haha!

As of June 2010, the United States Census Bureau has estimated the human world population at 6,829,400,000. You are not alone.

On the other hand, we have also thought that we had our highest moments – nirvana, bliss, paradise, heaven, cloud nine or whatever you call it. But when you're happy, I guess you won't care much who's happier than you, right? Let's all be happy and don't forget to count your blessings.

Back to blogging?

Since I don't have anything else to do, I should just probably blog.

Hello again BlogWorld!

Missed me? :D

Smile!

Nice shot right? All smiles and no worries.

But there's something weird about this photo.

It was taken on the verge of a camera's dying battery.

Isn't that great?! Hehehe.

vitamin B

The B vitamins are eight water-soluble vitamins that play important roles in cell metabolism. Historically, the B vitamins were once thought to be a single vitamin, referred to as vitamin B (much like how people refer to vitamin C or vitamin D). Later research showed that they are chemically distinct vitamins that often coexist in the same foods. Supplements containing all eight are generally referred to as a vitamin B complex. (Wikipedia)

My vitamin B is different.
...it burns calories
...it releases stress
...it gives me a chance to mingle with friends [and enemies, haha!]

I usually have it once a week... for two hours.

Equipment needed: Handy-dandy racket and shuttle cock

It’s a good exercise and a great hobby.

I love this game.

March 31 is the 90th day of the year in the Gregorian calendar.

It marks the end of the 1st quarter. Haaay.

Growing up

Mae, my 8-year old niece, spends more time fixing her hair than doing her home work.
She still watches cartoons but is starting to watch teen flicks.
She puts on lip gloss, lip stick, blush-on and whatever she finds in my sister’s drawer [whenever it’s possible].
Funny how little kids nowadays act like grown-ups.
What’s even funnier is how grown-ups act like little kids, hahaha!

They say when you are in your adolescent years, you start to hate your parents.
And when you finally become an adult, you still hate them.
But time will come [and it’s coming soon] that you will become like your parents.

When that time comes, you will realize that they were right.
Well, not necessarily right. At least, they had a point.
It is so true that “papunta ka pa lang, pabalik na sila”.

But of course, you can always take a different path.
We now have cars, buses, MRT hahaha! Or you can walk if you want to burn those calories.

Life is not a one-way stream. It is a cycle. Going forward and going back. Meeting people. Meddling with people. Missing people.

When is growing up too soon? And when is it too late?
I am 23 years old now... going on 24 in a couple of months. Huhuhu.
Shall I be acting like an adult now? Matured might be the proper term.

Oh well, bottomline of the story... it is better to mingle with people from different walks of life, age range, race, gender, social status, and intellectual capacity (hahaha!).
